What to expect
Before your appointment
We’ll send you our new patient forms ahead of time so you can complete them at your convenience. This gives Dr. Klein or Dr. Maiman the opportunity to review your health history in advance and helps us make your first visit more focused, calm, and personal.
Find new patient formsWhen You Arrive
- A Warm Welcome: You’ll be welcomed by Angelique or Priscilla at the front desk – familiar faces who genuinely care about making you feel at ease.
- Gentle Cleaning: One of our hygienists will then bring you back to take X-rays and clean your teeth. You’ll also have time to discuss any questions or concerns you may have.
- Comprehensive Exam: Next, you’ll meet with Dr. Klein for a comprehensive exam. He’ll check for signs of cavities, wear, gum disease, or anything else that could affect your dental health or function. If treatment is needed, he’ll walk you through your options step by step – always with your comfort and long-term goals in mind.
Most first visits last about 90 minutes.

Anxious About Your Visit?
Dental anxiety is common, but it doesn't have to control your oral health. Dr. Klein understands this and offers gentle, tailored approaches to help you feel calm and supported throughout your visit, including oral conscious sedation and nitrous oxide (laughing gas).

Each treatment room is equipped with a monitor, so you’re always part of the conversation. Using an intraoral camera, we can show you exactly what’s happening in your mouth, so you can understand your dental health more clearly and make confident decisions about your care.
