Improve your smile today:
Call to scheduleDid you know that regular dental examinations can detect dental conditions in their earliest stages? By visiting Monroe Dental Group, and allowing our team to diagnose and treat conditions, we can act fast to eliminate threats to your oral health before they pose serious risks.
Our process begins with a comprehensive examination to evaluate the health of each of your teeth and assess for signs of periodontal disease. Then, with the assistance of one of our dental hygienists, Dr. Klein or Dr. Thompson, will conduct a thorough cleaning to give you a smooth, fresh smile. Once all plaque and tartar have been removed from the surface of your teeth, we finalize your appointment with a polish. If needed, our team may complete dental X-rays to assist with the diagnoses of conditions that we are not able to identify though our visual examination.
Regular exams and cleanings are the foundation of a healthy smile. With our thorough examinations and professional cleanings, we prevent dental issues before they have the opportunity to start and keep your teeth and gums at their best.
Brighten your smileAre you wondering how to repair teeth affected by decay? We offer fillings that are designed to blend seamlessly with your teeth, providing a natural and aesthetically pleasing result that restores your tooth’s functionality.

Reclaim your sleepCan you take care of all of my dental needs?
As experts in general dentistry services, we take care of most of the dental needs that may arise on a day-to-day basis through preventive, restorative, and replacement procedures. We are also available to answer questions about your oral health and to educate you on the importance of healthy teeth and gums. While we strive to provide most of the care you need here in our office; we want what is best for you and will refer you to treatment with a specialist when necessary.
What is general dentistry?
Similar to your primary care physician, your general dentist is your contact for your oral health. General dentists provide most non-specialty services needed to stay healthy.
This includes preventive dentistry, such as:
We also repair teeth that suffer from decay, fractures, or trauma. Since cosmetic dentistry is not a dental specialty, we can assist in designing your new, beautiful smile and offer enhancements such as teeth whitening, veneers, and more.
What is the best way to keep my smile healthy?
With health consciousness growing, many are realizing the value of maintaining good health instead of just waiting to treat problems as they arise. For optimum oral health, we recommend you:
1- Brush your teeth at least twice daily
Using a soft-bristled toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste, brush your teeth for two full minutes using a
small circular motion with the bristles gently angled toward your gum line. Note that using excessive force
to brush will not clean your teeth more effectively and may damage delicate gum tissue.
2- Floss at least once a day
Using 2-3 feet of floss, floss up and down each side of each of your teeth. Do not force the floss any further
than it will comfortably go - your floss should be thought of as a squeegee that removes plaque.
3- Book regular dental examinations
While every patient is different, we recommend a visit every six months. For patients who have gum disease,
have some catching up to do, or have reduced dexterity that makes home care difficult, we may recommend more
frequent visits to maintain your oral health.
